Senior Software Developer (Commercial Services)
VM Consolidated, Inc. DBA Verra Mobility seeks a Senior Software Developer in Jersey City, NJ. Develop, validate, and maintain large, enterprise-class applications written in Microsoft technologies and Relational/NonRelational Databases. Understand full life cycle development including data modeling, database architecture and development, unit testing, and product support. Evaluate existing database structures and recommend improvements. Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or technical questions; train end users and technical support staff as required. Convert user stories into application logic, reports, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems; develop detailed technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements. Collaborate with multiple development, design, and analyst teams to solve problems; contribute in the implementation of improvements across organization product base. Must work from company office at least two days a week & cannot telecommute from outside of New Jersey. Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, and other closely related degrees and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 5 years of experience in C#, ASP NET, Net Core, Javascript, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle PL/SQL; 2 years of experience in .NET MVC, Entity Framework; and 1-year experience in Azure Cloud (Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, Azure Function, etc.); and ETL/Reporting (SSIS/SSRS). Salary: $179,982-$224,640/year. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
