Senior Project Engineer
with experience in structural design and documentation for complex building structures. This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong technical background who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities while continuing to grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Lead structural analysis and design of precast/prestressed systems for complex building projects Design lateral systems (diaphragms, shear walls) using RAM Structural System Review and stamp erection plans and shop drawings Conduct forensic investigations and develop repair strategies Manage a team of 4–6 (Design Engineers, BIM Modelers, EITs) Coordinate with architects, GCs, precast manufacturers, and steel detailers Oversee project documentation and ensure code compliance Lead quality control reviews and mentor junior staff Contribute to internal training and technical committees Manage workload and deliverables across multiple projects Requirements BS in Architectural or Civil Engineering (Structural); MS preferred Active
PE or SE licenses
in
TX or TN
(required) 8+ years
in precast/prestressed concrete design Advanced skills in
Tekla Structural Designer
and
Revit/BIM 360 Proficient in steel, concrete (incl. post-tensioned), masonry, and wood Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and standards Experience reviewing and stamping erection/shop drawings Proven team leadership and mentoring experience Excellent communication and coordination skills Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines Apply Now!
