Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

SHIFT: 7P-7:30A PER DIEM
$28 - $31 Per Hour
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY PREFERRED
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): • Provides plan care for all resident attending to. • Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit. • Must document changes and follow up on condition. • Organizes, cleans, and maintains the patient/resident units. • Ensures that resident's/patient's rights are adhered to. • Participates in departmental activities and follows established guidelines. • Performs related duties as required.
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): • Current LPN license in the state of Florida. • CPR Certification. • Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with geriatric patients, residents, family members, employees, and other facility guests. • Ability to document information concisely and accurately. • Minimum of 1-year experience as an Licensed Practical Nurse working in a nursing home and/or hospital environment preferred • Ability to think and act calmly to handle the unusual occurrences of the job. • Must pass a Level II Background Screening. • Must pass drug test.
