Service Credit Union is seeking an
Information Security Analyst
who will plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security protocols for the protection of the Credit Union's network and data systems. The IS Analyst will gather data from security controls and systems to create executive and summary reports, outlining opportunities for program enhancements. The IS Analyst will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and promoting the Information Security Awareness program throughout the Credit Union.
Pay:
Starting at $30.00 per hour. Flexible based on experience.

Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:00

Administer the organization's vulnerability assessment platform. Research, document, and recommend solutions to vulnerability and patch management issues. Develop relevant reports for presentation to the AVP of Information Security, demonstrating the effectiveness of security controls and overall security posture, as well as efficacy of vulnerability and patch management efforts. Analyze data from internal and external sources. Fulfill reporting requests from any security control to assist the business in responding to questions, Human Resources requests, or forensic investigations. Work closely with other members of the Information Security team to obtain information for all reported security incidents and develop a management report. Develop, implement, and lead Information Security Awareness Program for all employees. Participate in disaster recovery testing and incident response processes. Maintain the information security email inbox and serve as primary contact for employee questions. Maintain confidentiality regarding credit union policies and procedures, member financial data, personal information, and work-related events. Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any area of the Information Security or computer science is preferred. Experience working in the financial sector and familiarity with sector regulations and operating requirements. At least one certification in the Information Security field is preferred but not required if a security certification is obtained within 90 days of hiring. Strong data analytical skills to identify significant information to use in security metrics program Experience producing professional documents from numerous data sources Knowledge of information security concepts, financial regulations, and standards Ability to prioritize business objectives and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Excellent communication skills, including oral presentations and written communications, with the capability to articulate complex information, and to interact with all levels of credit union staff and management Familiarity with Microsoft Windows systems and business applications
