FAA Testing Required

Night Shift position:

A 10% shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate.

Job Description Perform a variety of non-destructive testing operations and inspections in accordance with company procedures, travelers, and customer specifications to ensure the integrity of components, parts, and assemblies.

Primary Responsibilities

Operate, control, and maintain all required NDT equipment

Follow operation sheet requirements and sign off on travelers as required

Maintain accurate records of daily production activity

Communicate with other departments to provide feedback on hardware quality

Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned

Maintain a close working relationship with Supervisor, Quality, and Engineering personnel

Participate in cross-training to acquire additional skills and knowledge

Keep work station clean and organized

Work safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures

Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (documentation required)

Meet ITAR definition of US Person(s) (documentation required)

Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency

Clear English documentation skills

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Self-motivated and able to work independently

20/20 vision (corrected)

Cross-training in other NDT areas required

FAA Testing and Training required

Ability to obtain Level II Digital X-Ray certification per NAS410

Pre-employment FAA drug testing required

Preferred Qualifications

Current Level II X-Ray Digital Certification NAS410

Experience in aerospace inspection

Experience with Repair and Overhaul X-Ray inspection

Experience in other NDT fields (FPI)

Physical Demands/Work Environment Stand, use hands, reach, communicate frequently. Lift/move hardware up to 40 pounds. Ability to move throughout the facility. Vision requirements include close, color, depth perception, focus adjustment. Noise level may be loud. PPE required. Accommodations available for disabilities. Must work in a fast-paced, team environment.
