Overview: VTG is seeking an Intermediate level Logistician to work in Port Hueneme, California.
What will you do?
Logisticians integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments. Logisticians are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance. It is the Logistician's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment. Support and understand DMSMS (Diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages). Provide cradle to grave life cycle engineering support for Combat Systems.

Typical Experience:
High School / vocational school degree or GED and 8-10 years professional experience in integrated logistics support. Bachelors Degree and 4-6 years professional experience in integrated logistics support. Familiarization with technical documentation, drawing packages, and ECP's. Proficient in various Microsoft Office tools. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Secret clearance. VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $65,000 - 78,000, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
