Quantech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Support & Logistics Specialist to provide expert technical and programmatic assistance to the Space Systems Command (SSC)/SZ-BC. This organization develops, tests, deploys, and sustains classified Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Defensive and Offensive Space Control (DSC/OSC) capabilities, and space test range assets. The role involves providing comprehensive lifecycle logistics support across various acquisition efforts. This environment requires a professional with a strong understanding of ground, near-space, space, and related operating systems. Additional Responsibilities
Providing lifecycle logistics support throughout the system lifecycle, including design, development, testing, production, sustainment, and disposal. Supporting systems engineering and architecture development from a logistics perspective. Engaging in integrated logistics planning and execution activities. Supporting acquisition processes, including contracting, finance, and scheduling. Developing and delivering product support requirements documents. Collaborating with government teams to develop assumptions, analyze data, and refine requirements. Guiding and assessing product support elements, ensuring compliance with regulations. Managing support functions to maintain system readiness and operational capability. Overseeing product support for fielded systems. Applying knowledge of the 12 Product Support Elements (PSE). Managing military airlift cargo using the government transportation network, FACTS, and DEAMS. Providing product support for space systems, including rapid prototyping initiatives. Developing technical order management and maintenance activities. Supporting the development of technical order strategies aligned with acquisition strategies. Participating in RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, and PWSs related to technical orders. Supporting acquisition of technical orders efficiently and cost-effectively. Managing reviews, meetings, and validation events related to technical orders. Job Requirements
Experience:
3-10 years working with US Space Force programs and organizations. Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) Work, Physical, and Mental Requirements
This role operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment. Physical demands are mostly sedentary, with some filing and lifting up to 40 lbs. Mental demands include reading, effective communication, and maintaining professionalism.
