Family Law Associate Attorney

who is compassionate, experienced, and client-focused. This role involves managing a diverse caseload involving divorce, custody, legitimation, child support, and domestic violence. The ideal candidate will be equipped to handle cases from start to finish and possess strong litigation, communication, and strategic thinking skills. The position offers courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and opportunities for long-term professional development within a collaborative environment. Location:

Atlanta, GA Duties:

Handle all aspects of family law matters from intake to trial or settlement Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, settlement agreements, and trial documents Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda Appear in court for hearings, trials, and mediations Advise clients on legal rights and strategies tailored to their cases Negotiate settlements and parenting plans Work closely with support staff to ensure timely and efficient case progression Maintain accurate case files, notes, and billing records Stay updated on changes in Georgia family law Attend firm meetings, training sessions, and contribute to client development initiatives Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in family law preferred (other litigation experience considered) Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively High emotional intelligence and client empathy Strong advocacy and courtroom presentation skills Familiarity with case management and legal billing software preferred Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia (required) Skills:
