Residential Care Facilitator

provides monitoring, structure, and support in a residential setting for women in recovery and their children. The position supervises residents and chores, provides overnight staffing and oversight, and reports any issues to clinical staff. Location:

This position is based at LifeWorks NW's Mountaindale site. Pay:

Starting hourly pay is $20.71. Additional pay:

A $1.25 location differential, a $1.00 shift differential for swing shifts, and a $5.00 shift differential for graveyard shifts. Ensure a safe environment for clients and children, conducting regular rounds. Provide skills training in daily activities such as meal prep, housekeeping, communication, and interpersonal skills. Establish and communicate rules and procedures, monitor behavior, and report observations. Respond promptly to medical issues, dispense medications, provide first aid, and refer clients as needed. Accurately complete documentation, including logs and SALs. Perform light office and housekeeping duties during overnight shifts, using site equipment proficiently. Respond to crises, consult with clinical staff, and notify emergency responders as necessary. Support site emergencies according to policies. Maintain client records confidentially and ensure compliance with guidelines. Provide backup for staff when needed. Transport clients via company vehicle or public transit, including putting chains on vans during winter. Enhance cultural sensitivity and competency continually. Work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Maintain a therapeutic milieu and encourage participation in recovery activities. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other organizational activities. Requirements: Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to make quick decisions, remain calm, and be flexible. If in recovery from substance abuse, demonstrate two years of sobriety in nonresidential settings. Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Effective communication skills and cultural competence. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements. Availability for evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
