Job Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC. Analyze network traffic for potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards. Configure and manage secure email gateways to protect against phishing, spam, malware, and other threats. Deploy and manage endpoint security tools, including antivirus, antimalware, EDR, and DLP. Develop and manage a vulnerability management program, including scanning, assessment, and remediation. Implement and manage security controls across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Qualifications:
57 years of experience in networking, infrastructure, and security. Strong understanding of modern infrastructure technologies and their security implications. Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN IP-based networks, including TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLANs, NAT, DNS, and DHCP. Understanding of applied cryptography and familiarity with enterprise attack vectors and defense strategies. Ability to code, script, and automate tasks to improve operational efficiency. Hands-on experience with NextGen/L7 firewalls and familiarity with major vendors. Practical knowledge of Windows (including Active Directory) and Linux environments. Experience handling SSL/TLS traffic and creating encrypt/decrypt policies.
