Process Control Engineer (DCS)

The role is for an on-site, dedicated Process Control Engineer at a medium sized chemical plant. The site manufactures specialty chemicals and solvents through a mostly continuous process, with some batch processing as well. This plant uses a Honeywell Experion DCS. The responsibilities include: Programming of the controls Providing day-to-day unit support System upgrades including the virtualization project underway Managing projects You’ll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and serve as the primary point of contact for process controls at the site. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in chemical or electrical engineering Five plus years of in-plant experience at any chemical plant with any type of DCS controls (Honeywell Experion experience is ideal but not necessary) Experience with power distribution, motors, maintenance, and instrumentation is a plus.
