Position: Civil Engineer - Geotechnical Design Specialist General Description: We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in geotechnical design to join our growing team. This role focuses on infrastructure projects, particularly tunnels and roadway systems, and offers the opportunity to work in a multicultural, technical, and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Perform geotechnical analyses and provide recommendations for the design of foundations, slope stability, retaining walls, and other geotechnical elements in roadway projects. Develop detailed engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads. Participate in site reconnaissance and field visits as required. Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, including results, interpretations, and recommendations based on field data and laboratory testing. Execute geotechnical calculations and modeling using specialized software. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into the overall project design. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Previous experience with FDOT or TxDOT projects (preferred). Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and construction quantity estimation techniques. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and teamwork skills. *-* Seniority level
