The Fuels Operations Supervisor/Expediter/ATM handles scheduling and disposition of material, communicates with travel personnel, vendors, and others to facilitate the movement of material. Responsible for the performance and daily production of the workforce. Primary Responsibilities
Manage incoming and outgoing materials and manifests Communicate with vendors on materials issues Supervise hydrant refueling, mobile refueling, and preventive maintenance Ensure actions directed by the RCC are accomplished in a safe and efficient manner Establish an effective daily preventive maintenance program Coordinate with vehicle maintenance on schedule maintenance and deficiencies Review aircraft flying schedules to ensure resources are available for fueling operations Spot-check operator's preventive maintenance, flight-line operations, and vehicle checkpoint procedures Review inspection records for fueling facilities Review the FAS automated Log sheet daily and take corrective actions when necessary Fuel and defuel civilian or military aircraft Operate bulk storage, hydrants, checkpoint, lox, and dispatch Attend all safety meetings and follow all safety rules Other duties as assigned, including changing tires and hose pulling Supervisory Responsibilities
May include interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving problems. Qualifications
At least six years' experience in Fuels, including three years in a managerial capacity Six years of supervisory experience Transportation and distribution experience preferred Two years' experience in USAF Fuels or civilian equivalent Fuels military equivalent certified qualifications Knowledge of Air Force and DoD fuels management instructions and procedures Completed USAF Fuels FMD or FMD 8 Course Ability to obtain and maintain airfield Competency Card Ability to pass a color vision test Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills Certificates and Licenses
Commercial Drivers' License Class A or B with hazardous material, tanker, and air brake endorsements A+ Certification USAF Fuels FMD or FMD 8 Course Security Clearance: SECRET Level required Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 100 pounds, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Domestic travel may be required. Additional Information
