Director of Purchasing

We’re growing our team and looking for a Purchasing Director to join AMB. This full-time role is an essential part of how we bring our designs to life, working closely with our designers, vendors, and fabricators to source, track, and deliver exceptional pieces for our projects. Qualifications 1–3 years purchasing and procurement experience, ideally within the interior design or related industry Proficiency with Studio Designer, Fohlio, or Ivy, or a willingness to learn quickly Strong vendor communication skills including negotiation and relationship management Experience tracking orders from purchase through delivery and coordinating with vendors, freight carriers, and installation teams Skilled in scheduling deliveries and managing installation timelines to align with project goals Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with new digital tools Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a collaborative team Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Salt Lake City based or willing to relocate Reach out to hello@ambdesigninc.com with your resume and portfolio.
