Responsibilities include developing and documenting technical and operational processes, designing and implementing standards, and leading initiatives to reduce variation and improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery. The role reports indirectly to the Global Continuous Improvement Director. Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain process flow documentation for plant operations. Support the rollout of the Guenther Productivity System (GPS) and lead related initiatives. Collaborate with teams to document work processes and develop standard work practices. Design and update SOPs to incorporate product and process changes. Lead Kaizen events to eliminate waste and improve efficiency. Drive digital technology initiatives for operational excellence. Support site productivity projects aimed at reducing COGS. Lead automation projects and new equipment installations. Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum Job Requirements
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or food science field or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years in food or high-speed manufacturing. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Continuous improvement and statistical analysis tools. Equipment design and process development. Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/ERP, and related software. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Project management and self-motivation. Working Conditions
Office and manufacturing environment with exposure to physical risks. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities. Expectations
