Assistant Director of Development, Leadership Annual Giving

Resume Cover letter addressing how the position aligns with your career trajectory and a demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse environment A list of at least three (3) professional references with current contact information The Assistant Director of Development, Leadership Annual Giving, is responsible for strengthening the major gift pipeline by cultivating and soliciting donors at the leadership annual giving level, focusing on gifts ranging from $1,000 to $4,999.
The Assistant Director will manage travel schedules for development-related activities, coordinate with donor relations for stewardship, and partner with Central Programs on strategies involving various giving vehicles. Additional duties include planning strategic development events, expanding a pool of qualified major gift prospects, and serving as a liaison between academic units and external supporters including individuals, corporations, and foundations.

The role involves planning and executing the University’s campaign for annual gift support from all constituents, including alumni. It provides support in stewardship and recognition efforts for annual fund donors, cultivates relationships with alumni, donors, foundations, and corporations to support the University’s mission, and ensures the University has the resources necessary for growth and long-term goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and less than 3 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
The proposed salary range for this position is $43,888 to $51,377. The salary negotiated at the time of offer will be commensurate with education and experience, considering internal equity. For more information on pay structure and guidelines, visit
