We are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Controller to lead our clients accounting operations and help drive financial accuracy and operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone with a strong public accounting background (Big 4 preferred) and proven leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: Own and lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting (GAAP & non-GAAP). Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure timely billing, collections, and vendor payments. Manage payroll, fixed assets, and travel & expense reimbursements. Maintain a clean and accurate general ledger and ensure the balance sheet and P&L are properly stated. Supervise and support a team of accounting and AP staff (including contractors). Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and identify operational efficiencies. Ensure compliance with SOX, US GAAP, IFRS, and internal audit requirements. What You Bring: 5+ years in Big 4 Public Accounting, plus 510 years in corporate accounting or controllership. 4+ years of team leadership and supervisory experience. Deep knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and audit processes. Experience in a publicly traded company (required). Background in financial services is strongly welcomed. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (a plus). Strong technical acumen, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
