Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Systems Engineer with strong expertise in MQ, JCL, mainframe batch, and online technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mainframe hardware and software, and a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions. Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain MQ-based messaging solutions with 4+ years of experience. Develop, manage, and troubleshoot JCL scripts to ensure efficient job scheduling and execution. Administer mainframe batch systems (CA7) and mainframe online technologies (CICS, CWS Direct, and API integration). Utilize hands-on expertise with mainframe hardware and software, including IBM z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, and related technologies. Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills. Provide technical support to various IT teams and contribute to solving complex technical challenges. Lead projects and small teams, ensuring successful project delivery and team goal accomplishment. Demonstrate consistent achievement in resolving complex problems and overcoming technical challenges. Exposure to mainframe observability tools and automation is a plus. Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience with MQ. 4+ years of experience building and running JCL. 4+ years of experience with mainframe batch systems (CA7) and online technologies (CICS, CWS Direct, API integration). Solid experience with mainframe hardware and software, including IBM z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, and related technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide technical support to diverse IT teams. Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and small teams to achieve objectives. Track record of effectively resolving complex technical issues. Experience with mainframe observability tools and automation is a plus. Compensation and Benefits

The pay range the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Company and Equal Opportunity
