Overview The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls requirements for a project. This role provides technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists. It serves as Control Team Leader/Project Controls Manager on medium and large-sized projects or as a Subject Manager Expert (SME) for the entire Project Controls Team. The role requires collaboration at all levels within the project team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for the project execution.

Plan and organize the setup of project baselines in the project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis.

Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baselines.

Provide technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists.

Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate reasons for variances along with proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.

Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work as defined by the contract.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: 10 years of electrical contracting experience or MEP coordination

Travel: 15-25%

Work Schedule: Typical hours 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; work may be required at other times to meet business needs

Additional Information Location: Monroe, LA

Salary: $76,280.00-$114,420.00
