to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD and may also be required to travel to other NG sites to support special projects. Position Summary: Plans utilization of office space with requirements of organizational efficiency, and available facilities and funds. Plans, coordinates, and allocates office space for all locations. Develops and recommends long-range plans to meet future office space needs. Formulates, recommends, and ensures compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space and furnishings. Provides oversight in matters relating to planning and execution of alterations, improvements, and other occupancy requirements. Job Responsibilities: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Partners with the site senior management and business development leadership to plan and manage site requirements.
Presents intelligent building modification options to management for consideration with recommendations for alternatives.
Prepares and presents status reports to management and site management.
Compliance with sector space utilization policies, collaboration with other functional support teams, supporting Real Estate transaction management in the acquisition/disposition of space.
Successful vendor and landlord negotiations, facility consolidations, and relevant construction projects.
Plans, designs, and oversees the reconfiguration of buildings and other facilities. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company, or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
Plans utilization of building space and facilities support for the company consistent with requirements of space efficiency.
Ensures project space requirements are clearly defined.
Acts as a POC facilities representative to ensure Archibus floor plans are up to date.
Works with Facility Managers and project managers to identify building facility issues and develop solutions.
Knowledge of SCIF’s spaces and unclassified spaces for program approval and accreditation requirements.
Travel on an as-needed basis to NG sites for space planning, facility utilization, and project support.
Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities, deadlines, and emergent requirements.
Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
Prepares Archibus reports to explain occupancy, vacancy, square footage, headcount, and lease information.
Collaborates with architects, engineers, procurement, furniture vendors, Security, and EH&S points of contact to complete construction projects.
Updates furniture standards playbook for Mission Systems sector on materials, color ways, sizes on workstation and office layouts.
Manages flex seating through Agile Quest, a scheduling and reservation system for hotel seating.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree and 6 years of relevant experience; OR will also consider an additional 4 years of experience (12 years total) in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Space planning.
Experience in project management and general construction processes.
US Citizenship Required.
Salary Range:
