A&K seeks a driven individual to fill a sales administrative position for the Salt Lake City sales office. This individual will be offered the opportunity to learn hands on, all aspects of the railroad track material business. Sales administrative assistants at A&K are responsible for assisting and developing business opportunities outlined by inside and outside sales managers. This position will aid in the creation of solutions to grow overall sales through increased velocity and customer satisfaction.

Answering and directing customer calls. Handle data entry into A&K’s enterprise system including but not limited to; quote entry, order entry, and processing. Order tracking and communicating shipping information and status with customer base. CRM data entry and management. Arrange travel for SLC sales staff and meeting agendas. Assist with customer complaints, documentation, and resolutions. Prepare quotations utilizing in-house technology. Take proactive approach to learn product line as well as material inventory. Assess, collect, and report competitive information. Work effectively with outside sales personnel regarding customer needs and business opportunities.

Requirements

Customer Service Oriented 1-3 years administrative office experience; preferably in a Sales environment Ability to multitask and have excellent time management skills Strong organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, & Power Point
