A leader and specialist in their field for designing and manufacturing containers and GSE for the Defense, Aerospace, Energy, and turbomachinery industries. With this objective, we are seeking a technical sales manager based in Springfield, Ohio, within our Champion GSE sales organization, who will be responsible for business development with civil and defense customers. Based on a solid technical background, the technical sales manager requires to have developed sales and communication skills that allow the understanding of customer needs and expectations to propose the most valuable offer and ensure project management for delivering a world-class solution. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets. Build and maintain long-lasting, strong customer relationships while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs. Understand, analyze, and report industry-specific trends and landscapes. Work with support teams (Design Engineering, Program Management, communication, etc.) to create and communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals, creatively address customer requirements, and be a trustworthy resource and solution provider. Work with support teams (Design Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Accounting, etc.) to ensure that the system’s information is up to date and that orders are delivered in a timely manner. REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in industrial/mechanical engineering or a related discipline preferred. Any bachelor's degree equivalent plus additional relevant experience is acceptable. Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the aerospace industry. Experience in developing target account conquest strategies, sales plans, new business proposals, and negotiating pricing and delivery. Strong communication proficiency, presentation, and organization skills. Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office, CAD software (Catia, NX, etc.) would be a plus. Travel within a territory, up to 30% is required. Frequent travel outside the local area can include international travel. COMPENSATION
