Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: The Intervention Rad Tech is responsible for performing the appropriate skills and techniques necessary during the cardiovascular procedure under the scope of practice. The Intervention Rad Tech has the responsibility of identifying and maintaining patient safety as it relates to radiation exposure and safety. Position rotates between scrub, monitor, and circulator. This position requires taking call and the ability to be at the hospital within 30 minutes if called.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications: Current California license, CRT and AART, Current California Fluoroscopy license. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification. Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist school and current ARRT licensure and CRT. At least 2 years working in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Suite. Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties. Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
