Location:

Nassau County (Hybrid Schedule)

We are currently seeking a skilled Legal Assistant with a minimum of five years' experience in a law firm environment, specifically supporting professional liability cases. This is a full-time position based in our Uniondale, NY office, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years' law firm experience, ideally with exposure to professional liability work Strong typing skills (55+ WPM) and outstanding grammar, spelling, and organizational abilities Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in both independent and team settings Proficiency with administrative legal support duties

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, format, and revise legal documents with a high level of accuracy Handle correspondence with clients and maintain communication records Accurately enter attorney time using iTimekeep Process expenses and reimbursements via Chrome River Manage attorneys' email and daily correspondence Answer phone calls and manage document scanning and email distribution Maintain a professional demeanor and contribute to a collaborative work environment Hybrid
