$70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Nesco Resource has partnered with a prestigious law firm in their pursuit to hire a Legal Assistant with Commercial Litigation experience.. This is a hybrid role to work 3 days/week in Uniondale and 2 days/week remote, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. This role will support a team of attorneys whose practices focus on

healthcare law ,

corporate transactions , and

business/commercial matters .

Key Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of law firm experience required. Prior experience in commercial litigation is essential. Proficiency in document organization and review, including indexing, summarizing, contract creation, stock option plans, and financial statement preparation. Strong typing skills (minimum 55+ words per minute) with excellent spelling, grammar, and organizational abilities. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Must be capable of providing comprehensive administrative support to attorneys.

Primary Responsibilities:

Draft, format, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence. Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams. Manage and prioritize incoming emails and correspondence. Answer phones and handle routine administrative duties. Utilize iTimekeep to track attorney time entries. Submit expense and reimbursement reports using Chrome River. Scan, email, and maintain electronic documents. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and teamwork in all interactions.
