Applications Analyst II

gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications and build to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. This level works with minimal supervision and acts as a resource for Applications Analyst I. We have several Applications Analyst positions available. They are focused on the Epic revenue cycle modules as well as Epic modules in the inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary areas. The Applications Analyst reports to the manager of a designated team supporting the application, and the modules include the following: Ambulatory, ASAP, IP Willow, Ambulatory Willow, MyChart, Beacon, Beaker, Cupid, Radiant, EpicCare Link, ClinDoc, Orders, Infection Control, OpTime, Anesthesia, Research, Cadence, Prelude, Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Claims, Grand Central, HIM, Coding, Rehab, Stork, Home Health & Hospice, Healthy Planet, Epic Security and Epic Bridges.

These are Hybrid Positions which require being on-site up to 50% in Edison, or at various HMH locations, as needed.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience. Minimum of 2 years of IT experience and/or 2 Years of Clinical experience. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. Works independently and effectively manages time with minimal supervision. Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook. Effective oral and written communication. Creates and maintains clear, concise documentation. Collaborates with other team members across the department. Demonstrates self-direction. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Bachelors degree. Healthcare experience or related field. Licenses and Certifications Required: Epic and/or other relevant certification(s) or where applicable, other relevant applications experience.
