New Mexico Heart Institute has over 30 years of diagnostic, interventional and preventive cardiovascular expertise. Our team of over 50 providers use state-of-the-art technology, offering the latest treatment options for all types of heart and vascular conditions.
Responsibilities
Process remote patient interrogations from all manufacturers; Boston Scientific, Biotronik, Abbott, and Medtronic.
Perform interrogations of implantable pacemakers and defibrillators and process reports.
Identify critical device and/or patient issues and bring to attention of provider.
Maintain device data base.
Maintain and monitor systems, equipment and supplies for assigned department.
Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Six (6) months of related experience in a healthcare environment
Current BLS; ACLS; National Certification
Device Technician Requirements: CCDS/ IBHRE Certification required within first year of employment
Knowledge of a variety of software applicants programs
Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures
Preferred Job Requirements
Associate’s Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution
One (1) year OR experience
