Overview

We are seeking a motivated Accounting Generalist with strong technical skills and the ability to support multiple areas of accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of professional experience, hold a degree in Accounting, and be fluent in both English and Portuguese.

Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide accounting support for operational and financial initiatives.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Portuguese with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bilingual: English and Portuguese (required).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
