Equipment Materials Instrument Technician, Sterile Processing – Baptist Health (Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville) This Full-time Days position is located at Baptist Jacksonville. Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Responsibilities

Coordinate activities of the sterile processing department, including cleaning and decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and distribution Ensure quality and contents of instrument trays meet surgical needs Supervise case cart, SPD, and Core operations; develop and configure instrument trays for surgical procedures Handle daily processing of case cart supplies and instruments Coordinate with vendors to ensure trays are complete and sterilized Collaborate with OR staff regarding instruments and supplies Participate in departmental planning and committees; engage in ongoing education and professional organizations Maintain compliance with safety standards and hospital policies Manage vendor adherence to practices, including inventory reviews, payment practices, and contract adherence Education & Experience

Education Required: High School Diploma/GED Education Preferred: Associate\'s Degree Experience: 1-2 years Sterile Processing; 1-2 years Surgical Technologist experience preferred; Data analytics and reporting Licenses & Certifications

Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) required Location
