Lead Specialist, Workday Supply Chain Management — KPMG US. The KPMG Advisory practice is a fast-growing area with strong client demand. This role, within our Managed Services practice, focuses on leading Workday SCM post-production engagements, including support, deployments, enhancements, optimization, process improvement, and road mapping. Responsibilities
Manage onshore/offshore teams that provide level 2/3 support for Workday managed services engagements across post-production clients, including enhancements, break/fix, release management, new feature deployments, process improvement, and road-mapping activities. Serve as the Supply Chain Management lead for managed services engagements; be the point of contact for escalations and work prioritization; ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery; collaborate with clients to drive goals post-production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions; lead analysis, design, configuration, and delivery of the Workday solution. Assist with onshore/offshore resource management, forecasting, load balancing; assess skill levels and gaps and upskill team members; identify risks and opportunities to meet client needs and improve the team. Lead the SCM pillar by mentoring a team of Workday SCM consultants; provide guidance and coaching; act as a functional subject matter expert during sales, proposals, and optimization initiatives to maximize client value from Workday investments. Maintain integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful work environment. Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience in post-production, managed services support or consulting working directly with clients in Workday SCM; at least two years in a leadership role. Bachelor's degree; MBA or MIS preferred. Workday certification in at least three of the following: Procurement, Inventory, Supplier Contracts, Accounts Payable/Supplier Accounts, Advanced Reporting. If not currently certified, certification must be obtained within three months of employment start. Understanding of ITIL framework, ITSM, and service desk management. Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; detail-oriented; ability to work with a mixed team of project managers, technical consultants, and clients to deploy and operate solutions. Experience in process reengineering and designing/implementing business performance management enhancements including workflow, approvals, and reporting.
