CT Technologist-Imaging Full Time Evenings
This is a full-time, evening shift position (40 hours per week) located at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital. The role requires on-call and holiday rotation. Responsibilities
Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table. Administers contrast media oral and/or IV contrast in accordance with department policies and procedures, patient history indicators, exam protocols and physician orders; follows through with post-exam instructions. Enters data such as type of scan, slice thickness, scan time and other technical data into computer. Communicates with patient before and during procedure; monitors safety and comfort. Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures; produces radiographs. Performs CT equipment QA and maintains required logs. Performs clerical tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling patients, and recordkeeping. Maintains and cleans work area and equipment; replenishes supplies as needed. Qualifications
Required: ARRT IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety BLS through American Heart Association 2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent Preferred: ARRT registry in CT or MRI 1 year experience Benefits
