Overview

As a professional Recruiter, you’ll be at the heart of connecting top talent with the right opportunities. You will take the lead in sourcing, screening, scheduling, and hiring candidates - building high-performing teams while ensuring a seamless hiring experience. Your expertise will directly shape our success by bringing in the right people for the right roles.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates
  • Screen resumes and applications
  • Prescreen candidates
  • Coordinate interviews
  • Own the candidate experience
  • Ensure compliance
  • Pre-employment testing
  • Maintain recruitment metrics
  • Promote the Build-A-Bear brand
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies
  • Support all phases of the recruitment strategy and process
  • Negotiate job offers
  • Identify internal candidates
  • Participate in job fairs and hiring events that are aligned with staffing needs
  • Manages ATS; ensures all open positions are posted and follows up in closing when a candidate is hired

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • Comfortable using an ATS, social media platforms, CRM systems, skills and assessment platforms, communication tools, mobile recruiting apps, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
  • Previous experience in a retail organization
