Icahn Charter Schools is currently seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to work in our fast-paced school office. This position reports directly to the school Principal.

Core Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and direct calls between all 7 schools and network office as needed and provide information about school policies and procedures
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence
  • Write and edit documents to include, but not limited to letters, reports, and instructional documents
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Data entry
  • Time and Attendance in ADP Workforcenow
  • Student record management
  • Serve as liaison between staff, students, parents and the community relaying information and coordinating communication
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Must be able to speak clearly and effectively
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Strong written and verbal communication sills
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Ability to go between two locations as needed
  • High school diploma/ GED
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and google drive
