Icahn Charter Schools is currently seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to work in our fast-paced school office. This position reports directly to the school Principal.
Core Responsibilities
- Answer phones and direct calls between all 7 schools and network office as needed and provide information about school policies and procedures
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence
- Write and edit documents to include, but not limited to letters, reports, and instructional documents
- Maintain filing systems
- Data entry
- Time and Attendance in ADP Workforcenow
- Student record management
- Serve as liaison between staff, students, parents and the community relaying information and coordinating communication
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Must be able to speak clearly and effectively
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication sills
- Must be able to multitask
- Ability to go between two locations as needed
- High school diploma/ GED
- Proficient with Microsoft office and google drive
