As part of our expanding team, we seek a Technical Recruiter to lead our talent acquisition efforts, with a strong emphasis on seamless onboarding to ensure new hires integrate smoothly and effectively into our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, qualifications, and timelines for technical roles.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and industry events to attract top technical talent.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure they align with Axionova's culture and technical standards.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine and improve recruitment strategies.

Onboarding

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Coordinate pre-boarding activities, including paperwork, equipment setup, and scheduling orientation sessions.
  • Develop and deliver engaging orientation programs that introduce new hires to Axionova's culture, values, and goals.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for new employees during their first 90 days, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback.
  • Work closely with department managers to tailor onboarding experiences to each role.
  • Design feedback mechanisms to continuously improve onboarding processes based on new hire experiences.

Process Management and Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and prepare reports on hiring effectiveness, diversity, and retention rates.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in the engineering or construction industries.
  • Proven expertise in onboarding and candidate experience management.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of engineering and technical roles to effectively evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recruitment and onboarding activities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Data-driven with experience using metrics to optimize recruitment strategies.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certification in recruitment or HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, AIRS, or similar).
  • Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives in hiring practices.
  • Experience with international hiring and onboarding.
