As the Appeals Section Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the consumer experience and serving our most vulnerable communities. You will coach and develop Appeals Unit Managers and Health Program Specialists, ensuring staff receive training, feedback, and support to succeed. We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about staff development, builds strong relationships, and thrives on digging into regulations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent leadership skills, with ability to develop and drive strategic vision of a team/unit, oversee the work of a team, use good judgement, and create a positive working environment. Ability to delegate responsibility, work with others effectively, and coach team to develop their capabilities. Experience interpreting, implementing and developing policies, procedures, regulations, laws or rules. Experience managing staff workload related to appeals, escalations, or complaints in a Service Center or similar setting. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences.
