RN Case Manager - Four Directions - Anchorage Hiring Range: $86,216.00 to $114,961.60 Pay Range: $86,216.00 to $129,313.60 The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to fulfill the tasks and duties of the RN Case Manager, provide excellent customer service, prioritize tasks with a customer focus, be flexible and open to continuous quality improvement, delegate tasks for efficiency, build relationships with customers and staff, work as part of the MAT (Medications for Addiction Treatment), and handle face-to-face customer contact. The role requires spending 30-40% of work time on the phone coordinating customer needs. The RN Case Manager works autonomously, making good nursing judgments and handling difficult conversations while maintaining positive relationships. SCF programs primarily serve Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and needs of this population to help achieve SCF’s vision of wellness and its mission of working together with the Native Community to improve health and related services. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. License in the State of Alaska as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS may be required for specialty roles. One (1) year of nursing experience or successful completion of the RN Case Manager Training Program at SCF. Daily Duties and Expectations: This is an intermittent role; schedule to be determined based on needs. No evening or overnight shifts. Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with holidays off. Collaborate with providers and support staff for administrative duties. Be comfortable working within substance abuse treatment settings. Native Preference: Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, SCF pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training. Certification from SCF Human Resources is required before applicants receive preference. Employee Health Requirements: Compliance with SCF’s Employee Health Procedure is mandatory. Applicants must agree to undergo all necessary health screenings and immunizations before starting employment. For jobs designated as Health Care Personnel (HCP), documentation of immunizations such as MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap, and COVID-19 vaccination is required before first day.
