Job Title: Restaurant Server

Location: La Colline at Hillside Boutique Hotel, Castroville, TX

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Engage with guests to provide a memorable experience, including recommending drinks and answering questions
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous restaurant server experience preferred
• Knowledge of mixology, wine and beverage preparation techniques
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications

Requirements

Education/Formal Training

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
• Familiarity with property management systems is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and reservation software
