Position Summary
ADJUNCT – AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE: The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in American Sign Language, Deaf Studies or related field.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful college teaching experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
