Copper State Bolt & Nut Company is seeking an organized and driven person to perform warehouse duties such as material handling, order pulling, and stocking. Fastener experience is helpful and the candidate must have previous forklift experience. Must be able to work well within a team environment.

Shift: 1st, M-F, 7am - 4pm

All positions require passing a mandatory pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing, loading/unloading trucks, managing inventory and returns, safely and securely preparing product to ship
• Enter information into the computer system, using RF Scanners if applicable, and confirm product is delivered to applicable packaging, order pulling, or stocking departments as necessary
• Periodic review of customer fastener and related product inventory in various stocking locations within the facility
• Generate orders as necessary for product and prepare for subsequent delivery and stocking activity
• Help receive inbound shipments daily; confirming correct product/quantities
• Pulling/staging orders for customers as product comes in for will call or delivery in a timely manner
• Assist with all outbound shipments daily: UPS, FEDEX, Freight, and deliveries
• Assist Will Call orders
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized, and product stocked correctly

Information Sharing and Communication

• Must log exact product details, quantities, warehouse locations, and traceability numbers in the system
• Highlight discrepancies in the system regarding inventory locations or stock availability
• Seek supervisor assistance for products that cannot be found or are not available
• Work with other warehouse departments to ensure productive and efficient workflow
• Report safety hazards or items to supervisors or managers immediately

Physical Requirements

• Lift heavy boxes/products up to 50 lbs or more
• Stand for the majority of the shift (8 or more hours)

Qualifications

• Fastener experience is helpful
• Must have forklift experience
• Organized and driven; able to work well within a team
