Overview
We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the testing and debugging of our client's environment setup, assist to identify related hardware engineering issues, and communicate with HQ teams and vendors to ensure the product can be delivered on time. The role is based on site in La Vergne, Tennessee for a global fortune 500 technology manufacturing & design company that is building cloud computing technologies for the world's largest search engine, online retailer and social media companies and working in the computer and electronics manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist the engineers to solve the engineering issue timely
- Set up HW testing and debug environment
- Collaborate with R&D to find out the root cause
- Support the manufacturing debug team troubleshoot
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to R&D, manufacturing, and customer
- Measure the signal waveform and support the bring up test
Required Skills/Abilities
- Operate the oscilloscope and Digital multimeter
- Solder wire and rework PCB board
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of/Experience in/Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture
- Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills
- Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role
- Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable
- Experience in designing circuit boards is desirable
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization\'s facilities
Compensation
Pay based on experience starting at $70,000 / year
