Join our dynamic Sodexo team as a Premiere Airline Lounge Bartender-Tipped to our exclusive United Club Lounge at John Wayne Airport. Lead the team in delivering exceptional hospitality service and ensure a seamless lounge experience for our guests. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction and attention to detail in a fast-paced, premium environment.

FULL TIME: $20/hr – Weekly pay
SHIFT: MORNINGS 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Greets guests, mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; creates drink recipes with appropriate garnishes.
• Checks identification to verify age for alcohol service.
• Provide friendly, tactful, and attentive service; collaborate with wait staff to ensure prompt service.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
• Prepare garnishes, restock bar supplies, and maintain a neat and sanitary bar area.
• Record sales and handle cash/credit/electronic payments in compliance with procedures.
• May prepare and/or sell food items; may take inventory and review stock and requisitions.
• Stock bar with beverages, ice, glassware, and related supplies; participate in safety and HACCP compliance.
• Attend allergy and foodborne illness in-service training; participate in safety meetings and training.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the client or Sodexo account requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year related experience in hospitality/culinary or beverage service.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly.

• Computer literacy; ability to listen to orders and make menu recommendations.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds (40 pounds on occasion).

Physical Requirements

• Vision, depth perception, and focus (with or without corrective lenses); ability to move and lift.
• Prolonged standing and mobility; ability to handle varying indoor/outdoor environments as needed.

Working Conditions

• Indoor setting with possible outdoor activity support; schedule may include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours.
• Moderate to loud noise level; temperate environment with possible exposure to heat/cold depending on duties.
