Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for delivering the Gibsons Restaurant Group philosophy by recruiting, leading and developing staff to execute the restaurant’s philosophy; fostering a positive, stable working environment; and building sales while controlling costs to deliver optimum business results for stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in the community as a representative of the company.
- Responds to customer complaints and resolves them to ensure customers will return and leave satisfied.
- Maintains and promotes a “no-compromise” attitude toward Hospitality, Quality and Value.
- Executes plans based on Spotter Reports, Guest Surveys and customer input to improve guest experience and loyalty.
- Remains available via cell phone to respond to needs when not on site.
- Coordinates with management to recruit, retain, train and develop staff dedicated to delivering Hospitality, Quality and Value.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors to gain employees’ loyalty and satisfaction.
- Schedules staff three weeks in advance to balance personal life with adequate restaurant coverage while controlling labor costs.
- Maintains safe and secure working conditions and protects restaurant assets.
- Administers written performance reviews and oversees staff performance reviews in alliance with other managers.
- Maintains employees in the POS and timekeeping systems.
- Complies with all policies, procedures and applicable laws as directed by the General Manager.
- Upholds the standards of the Gibsons Restaurant Group and preserves the DNA of the concept.
- Opens and closes the restaurant following established procedures and checklists.
- Supports restaurant goals to achieve volume growth and optimum profits.
- Oversees events to maximize sales potential and customer satisfaction.
- Reviews financials with GM to address problem areas and ensure profits.
- Administers in-restaurant payroll and employment recordkeeping with the GM.
- Ensures timely and accurate restaurant paperwork completion.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
Minimum of a high school diploma; Bachelor’s Degree or other four-year degree preferred. Three to five years experience in a restaurant environment with at least one year of management experience preferred.
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to read and write English; basic math skills; sound business judgment; data analysis; ability to maintain composure under pressure; strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
