This full-time, salaried position offers a starting salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, with loan forgiveness and tuition reimbursement up to $21,000. We support a center-based, early intervention ABA program serving children with autism ages 18 months to 6 years in Alexandria, VA.
Job Summary To facilitate collaboration of care and superior treatment outcomes for our young learners, we have an opening for a Masters level OT. Our center-based program delivers intensive early intervention for young children with autism. Each child receives 1-on-1 ABA therapy delivered by a technician and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Most of our learners require Occupational Therapy in addition to ABA and speech therapy. We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to provide high quality Occupational Therapy, collaborate with our clinicians on case management, and help our learners maximize their potential. We would also consider a strong candidate with great leadership and management skills for a more comprehensive role in the growth of Ally Behavior.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy within an early intervention ABA program.
Collaborate with BCBA, SLPs, and other clinicians on case management to optimize treatment outcomes.
Maintain a caseload with required weekly billable hours and document progress accordingly.
Lead or contribute to program development and growth initiatives as appropriate.
Qualifications
Masters Degree required
Valid state licensure for location of practice
Experience with early intervention and children with autism
Strong and fluid writing and oral communication skills
Desire for professional growth and career advancement
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run or stand for extended periods
Ability to reach and hold objects
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
