Providence . Description Speech Language Pathologist in the Speech Pathology Unit at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, CA. This is a Per diem position working 8-hour Day shifts. The practice involves assessment, treatment, planning, and implementation of techniques addressing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, with supervisory guidance as needed. Therapists completing a Clinical Fellowship Year will receive supervision per ASHA guidelines. Required Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Completion of, or eligibility for, Clinical Fellowship Year Coursework/Training in: Therapeutic feedings, Patient transfers, Assistance with Modified Barium Swallow studies California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire Preferred Qualifications Training in dysphagia assessment and management One year of acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience Why Join Providence?
