KPMG US KPMG is currently seeking a Temporary Systems Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator for a nine-month assignment to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems
Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure; including the installation and testing of new enterprise system software and hardware releases
Work directly with users to prioritize requests and frequently update users on progress and estimated delivery timeframe
Coordinate support escalation communication; participate in the development and maintenance of project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation
Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes with the ability to work in a production support environment providing on-call support, including off hours and weekend support
Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms
Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience operating in a large enterprise environment with understanding of implementation of systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux operating systems and working knowledge of SANs
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish are required
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; VMware VSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting using built-in Windows OS tools
Ability to automate normal tasks such as PowerShell, Python, and experience with deploying software across the server estate
Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and Service Now is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
