Overview
Temporary Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure Administrator (Bilingual English/Spanish) at KPMG US. This nine-month assignment joins the Digital Nexus technology organization to provide system administration and infrastructure support for Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems. Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of server infrastructure hosting Enterprise Applications running Windows and Linux operating systems Resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; interface with business clients and technology staff to implement solutions that meet business needs and address impact of new or revised applications on existing infrastructure Install and test new enterprise system software and hardware releases Work directly with users to prioritize requests and provide regular progress updates with estimated delivery timeframes Coordinate support escalation communication; participate in the development and maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, and installation Coordinate end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management, and escalation processes; provide on-call production support including off-hours and weekend support as needed Provide patching operations support to Latin America member firms Qualifications
Minimum one year of experience operating in a large enterprise environment with understanding of systems at scale; technical skills in Windows Server and Linux operating systems and working knowledge of SANs Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; full fluency in both English and Spanish is required Proficiency in Microsoft technologies including IIS, Microsoft Cluster Service, Certificates and PowerShell; experience with VMware VSphere and Cisco UCS platform administration is a plus; strong troubleshooting using built-in Windows tools Ability to automate normal tasks using PowerShell, Python, and experience deploying software across the server estate Experience with Datadog, SCOM, Qualys, and Service Now is a plus Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future Additional information
