We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer II (SE 2) with knowledge of Java, C++, and XML. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers, is essential to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions. Must be open to learning and adopting new technologies. About the team: This diverse team of Software Engineers is building and supporting a low-latency query engine for real-time analytics. Technical Skills: Proficiency with data manipulation languages. Ability to work with simple data models. Experience with C++, Java, XML, and Linux. Familiarity with industry best practices such as code coverage. Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Knowledge of data storage subsystems. Understanding of test-driven development. Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies. Responsibilities: Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity. Completing simple bug fixes. Collaborating with team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs. Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while working with stakeholders. Resolving technical issues as they arise. Keeping up-to-date with new technology developments.
