About the role, we are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer II (SE 2) with knowledge of Java, C++ and XML. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers, to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions. Must be open to learning and using new technology

About the team-This team of diverse Software Engineers is building and supporting A low-latency query engine for real-time analytics.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency with data manipulation languages. Ability to work with simple data models. Posses current experience with C++, Java, XML and Linux. Familiarity of industry best practices

code coverage. Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Basic knowledge of data manipulation languages. Knowledge of data storage subsystems. Knowledge of test-driven development. Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.

Responsibilities Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Completing simple bug fixes. Working closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs. Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolving technical issues as necessary. Keeping abreast of new technology developments.
