Overview
Urgent Care NP or PA Provider role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus in Boone, NC. Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr. This position is hosted by Jobot. Responsibilities
PA or NP Provider obtains an adequate history and performs an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary May perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage when necessary DOT Certification is preferred and, if not currently on file, will be required to obtain within 6 months of hire Qualifications
Board Certified nurse practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) BLS Certification Active NC Provider license in good standing Minimum 1 year Provider experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Primary Care settings Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred Benefits
