Security Professional - Armed Industrial Patrol in Rocky Mount, VA. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and interact with employees and visitors to provide exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment. Use our scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver a consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, solving problems and supporting the needs of the location Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences per Allied Universal and client protocols Work collaboratively with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and reassure employees and visitors What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent Must possess an armed guard card or license A valid driver’s license is required Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws Drug screen as permitted by law Participate in industry-specific security training programs Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us
